How do you say "therefore" in Spanish?
Por lo tanto, or por eso for "that is why".
Distinguish it from the similar-looking por lo menos (at least), por lo general (generally) and por lo visto (apparently). Así que is a more informal "so".
How do you say privacy and private life in Spanish?
la intimidad (f) = privacy; la vida privada (f) = private life.
Both are feminine, and the adjective follows and agrees: privada. Useful: respetar la intimidad = to respect privacy, invadir su vida privada = to invade their private life.
Which form of simpático do you use in 'My brother and my sister are nice'?
The masculine plural: Mi hermano y mi hermana son simpáticos.
When one of the nouns is masculine, the adjective goes masculine plural, however many feminine nouns there are. Only an all-feminine list takes the feminine: Mi madre y mi hermana son simpáticas.
