The web app goes live on 26 October 2026 with GCSE, and A-Level joins it in November. The GCSE app for iOS and Android follows in November, and the A-Level app in December. Drop your email on the Notify page and we'll ping you the moment it goes live.

Yes — you can study, play the games, build your own banks and keep your streak going for free, forever. Free users see occasional adverts. Every new account gets a free trial of Premium content, premium games and the AI features — start it when you're ready, no card needed. Premium keeps all of that, with no adverts, and adds a weekly summary for a parent or carer. Premium Plus gives unlimited AI — Pip and card creation, subject to fair use — and includes every coin game. The Plans page (brainberry.io/plans) shows exactly what each includes. Prices land at launch.

BrainBerry is built for GCSE and A-Level students (Years 10 to 13) in the UK.

At launch: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History and Geography, with Maths building out. More subjects are on the roadmap.

Cards carry an explanation on the back, so you see why an answer is right rather than just what it is.

Every AI-generated bank goes through a moderation pass — language screening plus an AI review — before it can be shared. You can report any card, and reported cards get fixed fast.

Yes — cards in your own banks are yours to edit, and you can delete a bank and generate a fresh one if it isn't landing.

Class Mode — a teacher hosts a live quiz round and the class joins on their own devices — is in final testing and follows soon after launch. It will be free for teachers. A teacher dashboard with class insights is on the roadmap.

Yes — UK data storage, encrypted in transit, never used for model training, and built to UK schools' data standards.

There are a few reasons an address will not accept an invite, and for privacy we do not say which one applies to a particular address. The usual causes: it is already signed up to BrainBerry as its own account (an account holder cannot also be added as someone's guardian); it has previously asked us to stop emailing it; email to it has bounced or been marked as spam, so we no longer send to it; or it looks like a school address, and progress sharing is for a parent or carer rather than a teacher. The most common cause by far is simply a typo — check the spelling with them, or use a different address for them. Addresses with a + in them (like mum+revision@example.com) are not accepted — use their main address instead.

No — it is part of Premium, and it is not included in the free trial. On the free plan or the trial you can see how it works, but you cannot send an invite. If your Premium ends, the weekly summary pauses and starts again when Premium is back. Stopping sharing is always free.

No. They never sign up, never set a password and never see the app. They get an email asking whether they want the weekly summary, and if they say yes they get one email a week. Every email has a link to stop it.

How many days you revised that week and which subjects and topics you covered, plus how you marked your cards. It never shows your scores or grades, what you got wrong, what time of day or night you were studying, or anything you write, search for or post.

Yes — you get the identical email, the day before they do, with a banner on top saying who it is going to. That is deliberate: nothing about your revision goes to anyone without you seeing exactly what was shared.

Up to two people, and you can stop sharing with any of them at any time from Settings > Sharing. Stopping takes effect immediately — nothing further is sent. You choose whether they are told. If they are, the note says only that the summaries have ended — never why, or who stopped them.

Ask them to check their spam or junk folder first. Invites expire after 14 days, and the link stops working once it has been used. If it has expired you can send a new one. There is also a daily limit on how many invites can be sent, so if you have tried several times in one day, wait until tomorrow.

Google, or email and a password — we send a short code to confirm it is you. One account works on every device.

On UK servers, encrypted in transit. Never used to train AI models.

Settings → Account → Delete. Your account and progress are wiped within 30 days. You can also export everything as JSON before deleting. You will have 30 days to change your mind and opt back in again.
