Every student gets the core experience free. We make money on Premium upgrades and the occasional advert, never on locking out the features you need to revise.
Made with students
Every feature was tested with real Year 12s and 13s. If they hated it, we cut it. If they loved it, we shipped it.

No leaderboard pressure, no public streak shame, no notifications about your friends out-studying you. Big quiet energy.
From a sketch in a coffee shop to launch.
The spark
A parent and two GCSE students, frustrated. Nothing on the market actually supported how they learned — different formats, deeper insights into their learning style, the things AI is finally good at. So they ducked into a local Berkshire coffee shop with a notepad.
Berry juices flowing
Sketches turned into proper plans. Hot chocolate turned into more hot chocolate. Somewhere between the third drink and the second blueberry muffin, the berry juices were officially flowing — and BrainBerry was born.
The build
A small team obsessed with the Berry best approach to revision: fun, focused, and powered by insights only AI can deliver. Every card, mode and nudge co-designed with students who'd actually sat GCSEs and A-Levels.
The launch
Web first, with GCSE on 26 October 2026 and A-Level in November, then the GCSE and A-Level phone apps in November and December. Free to start for every UK student, and a Premium plan for the AI features.
Free for everyone. Premium for the keenest beans.
